Cassie Sano

I am a realist painter living in Augusta, Maine, and I enjoy painting (mostly plein air) scenes that tell a story to the viewer about what I experienced in the moment. I especially love painting elements with a commanding presence such as rocks, boats, architecture, reflections in water, and shadows with interesting shapes and patterns. I also write and illustrate children’s pictures story books.
